Bespoke massage with Dominika Masnica

Hands that listen. Treatments that transform.

Massage has been at the heart of my practice since 2006. Over the years I have developed my own style of bodywork — a blend of deep tissue remedial massage, myofascial work, assisted stretching, gentle postural correction and deeply calming therapeutic touch.

A treatment created for you

Never a fixed routine

Every treatment is created specifically for the person on my couch. I don’t follow routines or work from a fixed sequence of techniques. Instead, I listen to your body, identify where it is holding tension, restriction or imbalance, and allow the treatment to evolve naturally in response to what I find.

The body as one system

Treating the root, not just the symptom

Many people arrive assuming that the source of their discomfort is exactly where they feel it. But the body works as an interconnected system, and pain or restriction in one area can be influenced by what is happening elsewhere.

I look for these relationships — how the body is compensating, where movement has been lost and what may be contributing to the pattern — rather than focusing only on the area that hurts.

Working with muscles and fascia

Restoration, not just relief

My treatments work deeply with muscles and fascia to address long-standing tension and restriction and encourage greater ease of movement.

But deep work does not have to mean fighting the body. I combine stronger remedial techniques with slower, calming touch, allowing the treatment to be both effective and deeply restorative.

When the body feels safe, it begins to let go.

An intuitive conversation with the body

Technical expertise meets intuitive touch

Through twenty years of clinical practice, I have developed a deep understanding of anatomy, movement and the ways the body compensates in response to injury, stress and habitual patterns.

But technical knowledge is only a part of how I work. From the moment my hands make contact, I am constantly listening and reassessing — noticing where the body is guarding, where movement has been lost and where one area may be compensating for another.

The closest way I can describe it is an intuitive conversation
with the body.

Rather than imposing a predetermined treatment, I respond to what I find. It is something clients often notice immediately: a sense that my hands seem to know where they need to go.
